NOOOOOOOOOOOO… Can you tell I don’t want to leave?

Hello beautiful people from the Internet!

So, the day has arrived, I have to go home… I really really really don’t want to. I’ve enjoyed myself so much here, and I’ve had my first traveling solo experience! (I’ll talk about that on my next post, if you have questions you want me to answer, comment down below or get in touch with me through social media!).

I haven’t done anything today to be honest, I’ve walked around some of my favorite streets, near the London Eye & Big Ben… I kinda just wanted to not feel a tourist, and just enjoy the London atmosphere.

I’ve gone to Victoria Station at around 4pm as I had to take the Gatwick Express to get to the airport, I was feeling so nostalgic already, and I hadn’t even officially left London yet.

I’ve arrived to the airport, gone through security, and then just wait and wait and wait until I had to board.

I’ve landed in Barcelona at 10:40pm… If I have to be honest, this London trip has been one of the best experiences I’ve had traveling. Maybe it’s because I’ve felt I had no attachments, I could do what I wanted, how I wanted and when I wanted.

If you are scared of traveling by yourself, DON’T BE! It’s not as scary or lonely as you may think, you meet a lot of people and you become really social, open and independent (if you are not already though… haha)

I feel like everyone should travel alone at least once in their lifetime! 🙂

Hello beautiful people from the Internet!

I can’t believe I’ve been in London for 3 days already! Time has gone by so fast, you don’t even know!

Today I have finally seen the Tower Bridge, it was absolutely amazing. A lot of people were telling me to go to London bridge so I was expecting a Tower Bridge part 2… London Bridge is not even that amazing, is just a bridge, nothing over the top.

After this tiny dissapointment, I’ve decided to just walk. I wanted to also visit St. Paul’s Cathedral, and that’s exactly where I’ve ended up. Sometimes when you are not actually all stressed to find all the touristy monuments, that’s when you find them. The cathedral was absolutely gorgeous, I don’t believe in enything, but I’ve always found cathedrals and churches really interesting.

It was around 11:30am already, so I’ve decided to go to Camden, and have a look at the market (and obviously the food market, I mean, it’s food like, how can you ignore it?) After a long tube ride, I’ve arrived to Camden! It has been a huge struggle for me as I liked every single thing in the market but I’ve been a grown up woman and I’ve only bought two things (one of them being a bag because mine has broken just at that moment, WHAT A COINCIDENCE).

For lunch I’ve had one of the best Thai noodles of my life. They were soooooo spicy, like you can’t even imagine, but they were SO GOOD! After that, i’ve decided that I deserves a desert as I was containing myself from buying the whole market, so I’ve bought a super nice Nutella, Banana and Whipped cream Crêpe. That was absolutely heaven for my mouth.

When I’ve finished, it was almost 3pm so I’ve decided to go back to the hostel to relax a bit BUT. I’ve found the Baker Street station sign so I’ve had a little debate with myself, should I go visit Sherlock’s home? YES. So let’s just say I’ve changed my route, to Sherlock’s house we go!

After that, then I’ve decided to go back to the hostel, relax, and get ready for WICKED AT WEST END! (My musical lover me is still fangirling over it).

I was looking at my London guide, and there was a page that said “cinema & theater in London”. Me knowing that West End is pretty expensive, I decided to just skip that page. Lucky me! My mum was like “why don’t you just look at the website and see which musicals are on? Even if you don’t go!”

That’s exactly what I did. Went in the West End website and the first thing I saw was:

I seriously thought that was a lie but I cliked and IT WAS REAL. I literally clicked on the buy tickets button as fast as I could. And that my friends is how I got my ticket.

Moral of the story: always listen to your mum and also check the musicals because you never know.

After this tiny break, let me continue with my day.

WICKED HAS BEEN AMAZING. LIKE EVEN BETTER THAN AMAZING. I can’t describe it with words to be honest, it has left me speechless. The thing is that the Elphaba performing was the one and only Willemijn Verkaik. Those of you who don’t know who she is, she is one of the BEST Elphabas of all time!!!!

It’s been an amazing day and I am NOT looking forward to going back home tomorrow…

Hello beautiful people from the Internet!

Today was my second day in London! I’ve literally woken up at 10am… I was planning on waking up early and going to see the guard change at Buckingham Palace…

Anyways, after getting ready, I’ve decided to go to Buckingham Palace anyways, when I’ve arrived THE GUARD CHANGE WAS STARTING! I seriously couldn’t have arrived at a better time!

After that, I’ve just gone straight into St. James Park. I’ve walked around, stare at the ducks… and obviously taking some pictures.

Then I was kinda confused let’s be real. There were too many streets so I’ve just figured that if I follow all the tourists, most likely is they will take me to Westminister and the Big Ben. And I was right!

Although it was pretty far… i’ve ended up deciding to go to the British Museum. I looooove museums and the collections they have here in London are absolutely amazing, I couldn’t miss that!

And then I’ve just decided to wander around a bit (Trafalgar Square, Oxford Street & Piccaddily Circus. I’ve also taken one of the most touristy pictures (aka phone booth pic) so here it is so you enjoy it too! 🙂

After that it was around 7 so I was starting to get hungry. I usually don’t like to spend a lot on food but I’ve chosen to treat myself. I’ve gone to an Italian restaurant and lucky for me, ALL COUPLES, NO SINGLE PEOPLE. Everybody was looking at me with the “aw she’s by herself, poor thing” face, but to be honest… I don’t care, the food was AMAZING.

See you guys tomorrow!

Hello beautiful people from the Internet!

After my finals, I thought I deserved a little bit of fun so I booked a flight to London! I am going by myself this time. I first went there when I was about 8 but I don’t remember much so I thought it would nice to go back and do some exploring.

I have also always wanted to start traveling solo so I feel like it is going to be a really good experience 🙂

I have woken up at 4.30am… I actually don’t mind waking up early when I have to travel, because I know it is going to be REALLY worth it.

We have landed at 8.30am, 30 minutes before the estimated time. After landing I’ve had to look for the train station (it was quite and adventure) and finally, I’ve arrived at Victoria station.

Let me tell you something. The tube is the most confusing thing ever. In the same station, up to 3 different lines can go through… it has taken me about 15 minutes to actually figure out where I had to go…

This first day I just wanted to explore the area where I was staying a little bit. I’ve spent the whole day wandering around Notting Hill. I’ve walked around Hyde Park, i’ve visited Kensington Palace… then I’ve decided to walk even more so I’ve decided to go to the Natural History Museum. It was pretty interesting to be honest! Then I’ve discovered a tiny little street which was full of restaurants, you could literally find any food there (indian, italian, french, chinese…).

As I was sitting down eating one of the best gelattos I’ve ever had, I was going through my London guide, and I’ve seen a place called “little Venice”. Long story short, I’ve ended up walking there! My feet were hurting soooo bad at this point, but the pain was worth it.

As I am a HUGE fan of the movie Notting Hill, obviously I needed to go to Portobello Market! I’ve tried to control myself and I haven’t bought anything BUT IT WAS TOO HARD. Also, I couldn’t stop staring at the colorful houses from there…

after that it was 7 already so I’ve decided to go back to the hostel… I’ve just slept about 2 hours tonight so I AM DEAD.

Tomorrow I will try to wake up early and make the most out of my day!
